What a far-field mic does →

TCL's UK pages for the 32, 40 and 43-inch SF560-UK list "Hands-free Voice Control: No", and the product information sheets say "Voice recognition sensor available: No". The manual puts the microphone in the remote: the voice button "Activates the microphone on the remote".

Interest-based AdsAds continue, less personalised
Settings → Preferences → Privacy Settings → Interest-based Ads

Tells apps that use the device's advertising ID not to use it to build ad profiles or show you interest-based ads. Ads continue.

Amazon's privacy FAQ covers Fire TV devices from other brands too. Same path in the UK and US.

No setting to turn them off is documented. Amazon's Fire TV privacy FAQ describes Interest-based Ads as telling apps that use the device's advertising ID not to use it to build ad profiles or target interest-based ads; it doesn't say the ads stop.

These settings cover ads in the TV's own menus, not ads inside individual apps. Menus can change with software updates, so check again after your TV updates.
