TCL QM6K (2025)

Sizes: 55, 65, 75, 85, 98″

Built-in far-field microphone

Has mic

This model has a built-in far-field microphone, which is the hardware hands-free voice control uses.

What a far-field mic does →

TCL's QM6K specification sheet, hosted by retailer P.C. Richard, explicitly lists a far-field microphone array. TCL's US quick-start guide for the 55–85-inch models also shows the TV's integrated microphone switch on printed page 10. Printed page 15 explains optional hands-free operation in standby using Screenless mode. The Pro variant has its own separate entry and source.

Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI

Unverified

Whether this model runs ACR hasn't been confirmed from a citable source yet.

What ACR is and how to turn it off →

The QM6K manual uses the name Automatic Content Recognition for automatic switching into FILMMAKER MODE (printed page 19). That description does not establish viewing-history collection, sharing with advertisers, or HDMI-content fingerprinting. Viewing-data ACR therefore remains unverified for this series; the picture-mode option should not be presented as a verified tracking opt-out.

How to put a TV on its own network →

No model-specific source confirming local-network scanning was found. Network connectivity and casting support do not by themselves establish the scanning behavior investigated on LG TVs.

Security vulnerabilities in Google TV

Unverified

Firmware support status hasn't been confirmed for this model from a citable source yet.

What that actually means for your TV →

No model-specific support end date or evidence establishing ongoing firmware support was verified. An update menu or a hardware warranty is not a software-support guarantee.
