Sony's UK specifications for the K-55XR8M2 and K-65XR8M2 give "(Built-in Mic) Yes" and a built-in microphone switch on the left. Sony's product information sheets say "Voice recognition sensor available: No", which doesn't match its own specifications. Where the maker's own specifications and the EU product information sheet differ, this site follows the maker's specifications.

Hides personalised recommendations. Google says sponsored content and teasers for popular movies and shows still appear, and Search, the Assistant and your Watchlist are turned off.

Some manufacturers label the account menu differently, e.g. "Accounts & Profiles" on Hisense or "Manage accounts" on TCL UK.

Google: "You can't turn off ads, but you can control the use of your advertising ID for personalized ads across installed apps."

These settings cover ads in the TV's own menus, not ads inside individual apps. Menus can change with software updates, so check again after your TV updates.
