Samsung F6000F (2025)
Built-in far-field microphone
No TV micThis model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.
Samsung's US specifications list "Bixby: Yes (Voice Ready)" with no "Far-Field Voice Interaction" row, and the remote is an "IR Basic Remote" (TM1240A), so it has no microphone either. The 32-inch page reads the same. Voice control needs a separate smart speaker ("Works with AI Speaker: Alexa, Google Assistant").
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Has ACRThis model has Samsung's ACR feature (branded "Viewing Information Services"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
Samsung's US support article says ACR is optional and only runs if you opted in to the Viewing Information Services notice at setup or later in Settings, and that this applies to all Samsung smart TVs. `true` means the feature exists, not that it is on by default.
Ads in the TV's own menus
Personalisation onlyTizen shows ads in its own menus. They can't be turned off, but the settings below change how they're personalised.
Samsung's UK Smart Hub privacy notice (effective 1 Jul 2026) lists sponsored content within the Smart Hub and generic ads.

Agreements and toggles can be reset by a software update, so check again after your TV updates.

- Interest-Based AdvertisingAds continue, less personalised
Settings → All Settings → General & Privacy → Terms & PrivacyUntick it to stop ads being personalised. The number of ads stays the same.
In the UK the checkbox reads "I consent to Interest-Based Advertising". The Privacy Choices item in the Smart Hub menu leads to the same consents. To fully stop personalisation, also turn off "Improved personalized ads with Samsung account data" in your Samsung account (US). Samsung's notices give the checkbox name; the manual gives the menu path.
- Start Screen OptionRelated setting
Settings → All Settings → Advanced Features → Start Screen OptionChoose not to start on the Smart Hub home screen. The home screen and its content are unchanged when you open it.
Moved from General & Privacy to Advanced Features in the 2025 e-Manual.
- Autorun Samsung TV PlusRelated setting
Settings → All Settings → Advanced Features → Start Screen Option → Autorun Samsung TV PlusStops Samsung TV Plus starting automatically. Samsung says it "may not be supported depending on the model or geographical area."
No setting to turn them off is documented. Samsung's UK notice says that withdrawing consent to Interest-Based Advertisements "will not reduce or prevent the delivery of generic or contextual advertisements", and that not opting in means you "will not reduce the number of ads you see".
These settings cover ads in the TV's own menus, not ads inside individual apps. Menus can change with software updates, so check again after your TV updates.
