Roku Pro Series (2024)
Built-in far-field microphone
No TV micThis model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.
Roku's TV v15 guide says "Your Roku TV does not have a built-in microphone" and puts the hands-free "Hey Roku" switch on the Voice Remote Pro. The Pro Series quick start guide Roku links for the 2024 sets lists a Roku Voice Remote Pro in the box and shows its microphone and hands-free switch. Roku's comparison table lists "Hands-free voice: Yes" for the Pro Series, which is the remote. Checked 19 Oct 2026.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Has ACRThis model has Roku's ACR feature (branded "Smart TV Experience"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
Roku documents opt-in ACR for live TV and connected inputs under Smart TV experience, with a Use info from TV inputs opt-out. The guide says turning it off doesn't delete information already collected. The guide covers Roku TVs generally, not this series by name.
