LG UQ9000 (2022)
Built-in far-field microphone
UnverifiedWhether this model has a built-in microphone (beyond the remote) hasn't been confirmed from a citable source yet.
Amazon's own listing titles call this "Alexa Built-in", but that's retailer marketing copy, not LG's own explicit spec-sheet language — no LG spec-sheet PDF for this model could be located to confirm it directly. RTINGS' hands-on review has a dedicated Remote section confirming it ships with a full Magic Remote (not a Standard Remote, unlike the 2025 UA-tier models), which does support voice control — but the description only covers remote-based commands (changing inputs, opening apps, searching, adjusting settings), with no mention of a separate TV-side far-field array the way confirmed-mic models describe it. Comes with a Magic Remote by default, so the "no accessory means no mic" reasoning used for the UA7000/UA7050/UA73/UA7700 entries doesn't apply here either way. Stays unverified.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Runs ACRThis model runs LG's ACR feature (branded "Live Plus"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
Source describes Live Plus generally on LG webOS TVs rather than confirming this specific model, but ACR has been a standard webOS feature across the lineup for years.
Scans your local network for other devices
Scans LANLike essentially all webOS sets, this model scans the local network for other devices. There is no settings toggle for this — the reported option is network-level (a guest network or VLAN, or disconnecting the TV from the internet and using an external streaming device instead).
How to put a TV on its own network →
Reported by Gamers Nexus and Level1Techs (2026) as webOS-level network scanning with no per-model settings toggle; described as platform-wide behavior rather than tied to a particular model — this finding isn't OLED-specific.
Security vulnerabilities in webOS
UnverifiedFirmware support status hasn't been confirmed for this model from a citable source yet.
What that actually means for your TV →
LG's own US product page now marks this model "DISCONTINUED", and RTINGS notes it "was replaced by the LG UR9000" in 2023. Being discontinued from retail isn't the same claim as no longer receiving webOS updates, though, and no source directly confirms or denies this budget LCD tier's inclusion in LG's Re:New update program (which the sources checked describe primarily covering OLED and higher-end QNED models). Stays unverified rather than assumed either way.
