LG UA7700 (2025)
Built-in far-field microphone
No TV micThis model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.
LG Digital Customer Care, answering a Best Buy Q&A directly: "An LG Magic Remote is not included with the LG 55" Class UA77 Series LED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025)... The TV comes with an included standard remote and the LG Magic Remote, Model # MR25GA must be purchased separately." This matches RTINGS' hands-on review (rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/ua77), whose "Voice Control" section says the same thing in its own words: "Instead of the Magic Remote pointer found on higher-end models, this TV comes with LG's older basic remote... It's compatible with the Magic Remote, though, so if you prefer that you can buy the fancier remote separately." Two independent sources agreeing the base set ships with no Magic Remote and no built-in microphone hardware — voice control exists only if you buy the optional remote separately.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Runs ACRThis model runs LG's ACR feature (branded "Live Plus"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
Source describes Live Plus generally on LG webOS TVs rather than confirming this specific model, but ACR has been a standard webOS feature across the lineup for years.
Scans your local network for other devices
Scans LANLike essentially all webOS sets, this model scans the local network for other devices. There is no settings toggle for this — the reported option is network-level (a guest network or VLAN, or disconnecting the TV from the internet and using an external streaming device instead).
How to put a TV on its own network →
Reported by Gamers Nexus and Level1Techs (2026) as webOS-level network scanning with no per-model settings toggle; described as platform-wide behavior rather than tied to a particular model — this finding isn't OLED-specific.
Security vulnerabilities in webOS
SupportedThis model is still receiving firmware/platform updates.
What that actually means for your TV →
RTINGS: "it's part of LG's Re:New program, [so] it'll receive new versions of webOS for a few years after launch."
