Built-in far-field microphone

No TV mic

This model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.

What a far-field mic does →

LG's own official US spec sheet lists "Amazon Alexa (Built-in)", "Magic Remote Control", "AI Concierge" and "Voice ID" all as "Ready (requires Magic Remote)" — not "Yes (Built-in)" the way confirmed-mic models on this site list it — and the Accessories Included table confirms the TV ships with a "Standard Remote", not a Magic Remote. Read together, this says the base set has no built-in microphone hardware at all; voice control only exists if you separately buy a Magic Remote, whose mic is a near-field, push-to-talk button on the remote itself, not a TV-embedded far-field array. That's a different hardware claim than the standby-audio finding this site is about, so it's recorded as no TV mic rather than left unverified.

Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI

Runs ACR

This model runs LG's ACR feature (branded "Live Plus"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.

What ACR is and how to turn it off →

Source describes Live Plus generally on LG webOS TVs rather than confirming this specific model, but ACR has been a standard webOS feature across the lineup for years.

Scans your local network for other devices

Scans LAN

Like essentially all webOS sets, this model scans the local network for other devices. There is no settings toggle for this — the reported option is network-level (a guest network or VLAN, or disconnecting the TV from the internet and using an external streaming device instead).

How to put a TV on its own network →

Reported by Gamers Nexus and Level1Techs (2026) as webOS-level network scanning with no per-model settings toggle; described as platform-wide behavior rather than tied to a particular model — this finding isn't OLED-specific.

Security vulnerabilities in webOS

Supported

This model is still receiving firmware/platform updates.

What that actually means for your TV →

LG's own official US spec sheet advertises "webOS Re:New — Enjoy future platform updates for peace of mind — software updates for up to 5 years" directly. Current-generation model, released 2025 and shipping with webOS 25 out of the box.
