LG NanoCell NANO80 (2022)

Sizes: 50, 55, 65, 75″

Built-in far-field microphone

No TV mic

This model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.

What a far-field mic does →

LG's own official 2022 spec sheet lists "Hands-free Voice Control: -" (not included) in its AI TV features table — the same field other confirmed-mic entries on this site list as "Yes". Separately, on the very same sheet, "Voice Assistants: Google and Alexa Built-in (No separate device purchase necessary)" is listed as included. Read together, that second row is a smart-home-integration claim (you don't need a separate Echo or Google Home speaker to link your account) — not a claim about a TV-embedded far-field microphone. This is likely why Amazon's marketing titles for these NanoCell models call them "Alexa Built-in": that's this same row, not the hands-free mic spec.

Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI

Runs ACR

This model runs LG's ACR feature (branded "Live Plus"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.

What ACR is and how to turn it off →

Source describes Live Plus generally on LG webOS TVs rather than confirming this specific model, but ACR has been a standard webOS feature across the lineup for years.

Scans your local network for other devices

Scans LAN

Like essentially all webOS sets, this model scans the local network for other devices. There is no settings toggle for this — the reported option is network-level (a guest network or VLAN, or disconnecting the TV from the internet and using an external streaming device instead).

How to put a TV on its own network →

Reported by Gamers Nexus and Level1Techs (2026) as webOS-level network scanning with no per-model settings toggle; described as platform-wide behavior rather than tied to a particular model — this finding isn't OLED-specific.

Security vulnerabilities in webOS

Unsupported

This model is no longer receiving platform-version updates.

What that actually means for your TV →

TechRadar's rendering of LG's official Re:New rollout schedule (as reported by FlatpanelsHD) lists 2022's eligible products as "OLED, 8K QNED, StanbyME GO" — standard 4K NanoCell like this model isn't on that list, only OLED and the 8K QNED flagships from that year.
