Hisense S7 CanvasTV (2026)
Built-in far-field microphone
UnverifiedWhether this model has a built-in microphone (beyond the remote) hasn't been confirmed from a citable source yet.
Hisense's quick setup guide for the 50, 55 and 65-inch S7SG shows only a power indicator, power button and sensor on the TV, and a microphone button on the remote. It doesn't mention a microphone in the TV. The shared e-manual describes hands-free voice using a microphone switch on the TV, but says this may not apply to some models. Neither says definitely, so this stays unverified.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Has ACRThis model has Hisense's ACR feature (branded "Enhanced Viewing"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
The e-manual Hisense links from the S7 product pages has an Automatic Content Recognition switch under Settings > System > Advanced System > Enhanced Viewing (printed page 24). It needs you to accept the smart-feature privacy terms, and a Device ID setting shows the identifier "used for the ACR data collections" (page 25). The manual says these may not apply to some models or regions, and doesn't say whether ACR is on by default.
Ads in the TV's own menus
Personalisation onlyGoogle TV shows ads in its own menus. They can't be turned off, but the settings below change how they're personalised.
Google says Google TV and Android TV "sometimes serve advertisements, which are labeled as advertisements".
Scans your local network for other devices
UnverifiedLocal network scanning hasn't been confirmed for this model from a citable source yet.
How to put a TV on its own network →

UnverifiedFirmware support status hasn't been confirmed for this model from a citable source yet.
What that actually means for your TV →
The S7 e-manual says the TV receives updates automatically when connected to the internet (Settings > System > About > System update), but no support period or end date is stated.

Google: "You can't turn off ads, but you can control the use of your advertising ID for personalized ads across installed apps."
These settings cover ads in the TV's own menus, not ads inside individual apps. Menus can change with software updates, so check again after your TV updates.
