Hisense S5 DécoTV (2025, 32 inch, Fire TV)
Built-in far-field microphone
No TV micThis model has no built-in far-field microphone — voice control goes through the remote.
Hisense's US spec sheet for the 32S5QF lists "Far Field Mic/Hands Free: No" and "Alexa: Alexa Built-in", with a Fire TV remote in the box, so Alexa is used through the remote.
Automatic content recognition (ACR), including over HDMI
Has ACRThis model has Hisense's ACR feature (branded "Automatic Content Recognition"), which analyzes on-screen content — including over HDMI — to identify what's playing.
What ACR is and how to turn it off →
This model runs Fire TV. Amazon's help page says that when ACR is enabled on a Fire TV smart TV, Amazon identifies what you watch through connected devices such as a cable box, and that it is managed at Settings → Preferences → Privacy Settings → Automatic Content Recognition. Amazon doesn't say whether it is on by default. No Hisense source for this model was found.
Ads in the TV's own menus
Personalisation onlyFire TV shows ads in its own menus. They can't be turned off, but the settings below change how they're personalised.
Amazon Ads lists home-screen placements on Fire TV, including banners, sponsored tiles and sponsored screensavers.

- Broadcast Live TV Data (UK)
Settings → Preferences → Privacy SettingsAmazon's UK FAQ says smart TVs with Fire TV can send Amazon information on your use of broadcast live TV received through the TV's aerial inputs, and that you can opt out here.
From Amazon's UK privacy FAQ (checked 19 Oct 2026). It doesn't give the switch's exact name.
Agreements and toggles can be reset by a software update, so check again after your TV updates.
Ad settings: Fire TV (Amazon's TVs and Fire TV models from other brands)
- Interest-based AdsAds continue, less personalised
Settings → Preferences → Privacy Settings → Interest-based AdsTells apps that use the device's advertising ID not to use it to build ad profiles or show you interest-based ads. Ads continue.
Amazon's privacy FAQ covers Fire TV devices from other brands too. Same path in the UK and US.
No setting to turn them off is documented. Amazon's Fire TV privacy FAQ describes Interest-based Ads as telling apps that use the device's advertising ID not to use it to build ad profiles or target interest-based ads; it doesn't say the ads stop.
These settings cover ads in the TV's own menus, not ads inside individual apps. Menus can change with software updates, so check again after your TV updates.
